Why Isn't it February 10th?

Macquarie University
That's where I'll be spending the majority of my 5 months in Australia. Mac Uni is located just north of Sydney in the city of North Ryde. It's home to 32,000 students including 8000 overseas students. I chose Macquarie mainly because it had a lot of interesting biology classes to take including marine biology. The apartments I'll be staying at in Macquarie were originally built for the Olympics, so I'm assuming they are nice.

If you haven't already figured out by the title, I leave February 10th. I won't actually arrive in Australia until February 12th because of the time difference between here and there. Australia is 15 hours ahead of the Eastern time zone. Regardless, I can't wait to get out of the cold, horrid state of Ohio. I'm sick of the cold weather and the snow. I'm ready for the 80 degree sunny days in Australia.

Anyway, I'll be updating this blog throughout my stay in Australia with lots of pictures, videos, and stories. Don't count on daily updates though, cause I'm not gonna take that time to do that. Comment all you want. If you want to talk though, you should know how to contact me on facebook, aim, or skype. If not, let me know.

I guess that's all for now. My first update from Australia probably won't be until February 17th after I arrive at Mac Uni. Who knows if I'll update it before then.
